Benefits of Grape Seed Oil

There are many oils out there to use and to try and we go in search of which one works best for us, I personally have used grape seed oil, I have used it on my hair and I love it.

Grape seed oil has many benefits and I’ll just be sharing a few with you today so let’s get on with it, shall we.
  • It helps with moisture retention, since it contains omega 6 fatty acids when you apply it to the skin it retains the moisture which helps to keep the skin soft and moisturized.
Grape seed oil contains omega 6 fatty acids which can help to combat:
  • eczema
  • dermatitis
  • obesity
  • cancer
  • rheumatoid arthritis
  • People who suffer from dry scalp can use grape seed oil to moisturize their scalp as well as use it in their DIY deep conditioner or even use it as a hot oil treatment. This will moisturize your hair follicles as well as help to combat the dry scalp and itching. It’s good to use in preventing split ends, it gives the hair shine and can also be used as a heat protector for damaged hair
  • Some people use grape seed oil as their make-up remover, a night serum or as a cleanser to read more about that here Restoration Beauty  and to go more in depth about grape seed oil you can read this article over at Always Healthy Living.
  • Many people use the grape seed oil to eliminate stretch marks from their skin and cellulite. Massage the oil in the area desired and repeat every day until you see results.
  • There are people who apply the grape seed oil to their lashes for it to grow longer, I have never personally tried this so I’m not positive that it works, but hey it’s good to try something new once in a while right?
  • Grape seed oil can be used in your scrubs, as bath oil and also as pre shave oil which can be used as an alternative to shaving cream which is more natural; it also helps to treat razor burns.

Grape seed oil greatest benefit is for medicinal purposes, it contains many useful ingredients like beta-carotene, flavonoids, vitamin C and more, it can reduce the level of bad cholesterol and increase the level of the good cholesterol.
